PRESIDENT

Alex is a business and marketing teacher for Mound Westonka High School and is the high school's DECA Advisor. He is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Moorhead and Winona State University where he studied Social Studies Education and Business and Marketing Education respectively. He would say that he loves all things Disney (but promises he isn't a Disney adult) and enjoys traveling to new places and trying new things.

Megan is the Major Gifts Officer for Avivo, a Minnesota nonprofit that works to end homelessness, advance careers, provide employment services, and support recovery and well-being. She is a graduate of Kansas State University where she studied Public Relations and Nonprofit Leadership. In her free time she enjoys fostering dogs and enjoying the outdoors!

TREASURER

Shawn is a Senior Revenue Accountant for Enghouse Systems, a Toronto-based organization that is a leading global provider of enterprise software solutions. He is a graduate of University of North Dakota where he received his Bachelor’s in Accountancy and had an emphasis in Nonprofit Leadership and Marketing. In his free time he enjoys doing anything he can with his Goldendoodle, Hoka, catching all the films he possibly can, and trying out all the amazing restaurants the Twin Cities has to offer.

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS

By day Beth is a 7th grade science teacher trying to help her students navigate middle school. She is a graduate of Bemidji State University and St. Mary’s University. In her free time Beth is busy attempting to be crafty, connecting with the people that mean the most to her, or roaming with her gnome.

DIRECTOR OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION

Nicole lives with her family in Dayton, Minnesota. She is her kid’s number one fan at all of their sporting events - but in her free time she loves hanging out with her backyard chickens and spending time in her garden. She is a social worker and has dedicated the last 18 years of her career to the field of education.
